Making running into slow streaming

A while ago Norway’s public broadcaster NRK, released a series of TV shows that were broadcasted live on national television about mondaine topics. They purposely meant to be long and slow, they called it Sakte-TV, or Slow TV.1 Among those shows, were a train trip leaving Oslo until it arrived in Bergen and when they had Lars Monsen2, a widely famous national explorer and journalist, hiking over many national parks. It was an instant hit.

It was an instant hit.

Starting today, OFF. is building up a library with runs. Anyone around the world will be able to enjoy unedited, high definition videos. Whether people want it to be playing as background video, run along on a treadmill, perhaps get inspired to go out for a run, anything is valid. From now on, OFF has its own YouTube channel where these videos will be published and made available for free.

Hopefully, they will bring people that aren’t yet running, into the art of putting one foot in front of the other.

Without further ado… OFF presents
